What Does Deserve Mean? – Applying Discipline And Sacrifice

Many of us know that we deserve certain things but somehow cannot find the right way to get them. In this week´s blog, I want to focus my attention to helping you understand how to get what you deserve and sustain it.

I want to begin by saying getting what you deserve is not always easy but it is always possible. And this makes a big difference.

Being easy means that you expect to get what you deserve in a short period of time and with as little effort as possible. You basically stay in your comfort zone, you just state your wish and made it clear to yourself what it is that you really want. Because of the fact that you really do want this so badly, you know you must deserve it.Scolded

The question here is not whether you deserve it or not. Of course, you deserve it! It is your birthright to have the things you desire and want. Everything is possible in this abundant universe.

The real question to ask here is somewhat different. How can you get that which you want and which you truly deserve?

Setting your expectations that the path toward your goal must be easy and without any resistance might, in fact, prohibit you to reach your goal.

I am not saying that everything we desire must be hard to get and connected with a lot of effort, hard work, and sacrifice on our part, but we do have to be aware that certain things are required to reach your ultimate goal.

It is really important that you never lose faith and you have perseverance and patience loaded in your backpack. Remember the saying: “When the going gets tough, the tough get going!”

You need to understand the process of how to go after the things you want and how to get them.

Do not be discouraged by setbacks and failures because this is all part of the game. Instead of expecting things to be graceful and easy, and have things automatically happen in your favor, be prepared to take the signs of the universe when some obstacles set in.

Are the blocks you are encountering normal and surmountable, and even beneficial to your goal? Do you tend to interpret these blocks are signs to stop on your path? Be careful not to misinterpret hardships because you are so focused on having everything develop smoothly.

Here are the four steps to help you get what you want and deserve:

Step One:  What do you have now? Where are you now?

Examine your current situation and evaluate your goals. Take into consideration you starting point and craft out some strategies that might help you achieve your goal.

Step Two: What do you really want? Do you know what you want? Seek for more, seek for greatness!

Write down on a piece of paper a formulation of your goal. Make a clear desire of the good that you want to manifest in your life. Imbue this mental image with emotion. Giving this mental image an emotional thrust means that you see yourself doing the things or actively participating in the things that you want. As soon as you establish this link to your goal: emotion and clear statement, things are much easier. Please do not mistake easier with everything developing along the way of reaching your goal as being easy!

Step Three: What can you do to get what you want?

Being clear on your vision and your goal, I now invite you to develop awareness about two things:

  1. You need to have a desire for discipline – apply a voluntary choice of discipline.
  1. You need to be prepared to sacrifice certain things when you are after gaining something. Give up something of lower nature to get something of higher nature.

Discipline is the high road leading to goal attainment. Magical moments that happen are through discipline and patience. Discipline can be painful and be challenging at times, but nevertheless, discipline is the vehicle that will lead you to your desired outcome.

We need to be disciplined in our thinking and do not allow our mind to wander to easy-fix solutions. Take control of your life through control of your thinking. Do not let the outside world control you.

When you practice sacrifice, you need to give yourself a command and then follow it. Sacrifice is an inescapable necessity. It is by law. You need to give up something in order to get something of a higher nature.

When we form new habits we are responsible for sticking on our way. We need to sacrifice and experience a little discomfort because the win is tremendous. Sacrifice indicates growth and evolution.DSC_0022

Sacrifice and discipline are the two most important principles of growth, evolution, and development.

Step Four: Look at Your Results

Bring your “I am” to the vibration of the good you want. Match the higher frequency of your vision. Life is a generous giver if you are in harmony with the frequency of that which you want. The yearning within you can be realized by firmly applying discipline and sacrifice. This is a universal law and we do need to take this law personally.

Be aware that you will never ultimately want to stop anywhere. You will be achieving your goals, but because of the process of growth, you will be willing to further develop and change certain things. And applying the universal law of discipline is a handy tool along the way.  Incorporate discipline and sacrifice into your habitual way of living. This is a paradigm shift.

Everything in life has its own price. That is why it is very important that you make a clear commitment. Write down on a piece of paper what you are committing to and read it out every day. This way, discipline, and sacrifice will be self-explanatory. Your commitment will be your main motivator and motor to push you to pursue your strategy.

It also helps if you have an accountability partner. This accountability partner is someone you can count on in any situation. He will hold you when you need help and support When doubt and fear set in and he will be there with you to celebrate your achievements.

That is it for this week´s blog. I hope you enjoyed it and share it with your friends.

Much Love and Many Blessings,
