Even though they have become aware and have set the firm intention to overcome all these issues, fear, doubt, confusion, and helplessness always sets in. Not even the hardest commitment can solve this issue.
That is why I would like to share with you ONE POWERFUL PRACTICE that will unlock that barrier of resistance that so many people simply cannot eliminate. This powerful practice when you do it over and over again penetrates your subconscious mind and will be imprinted there as a new neural pathway that will help you break the negative patterns of behavior and your negative habits.
And that practice is…
F O C U S O N T H E P O S I T I V E
You need to focus on positive statements, positive thoughts, positive choices, positive actions and positive feelings. Only when you rest your focus on the positive will you be able to integrate a powerful motor in your personality that will help you move in an upward-rising spiral.
How do you feel about positive feelings? You say that it is difficult to focus on the positive feelings when in some challenging situations, all you could feel is negativity such as fear, shame, anxiety, worry, insecurity, guilt or anger. Therefore, the real question here is how can you shift your attention from the negative feelings and transform them into positive feelings? This is easier said than done.
Exactly because of this reason, you need to equip yourself with a powerful tool that you can use every time to shift your negative emotions into positive ones.
For instance, if you want to stop feeling anxious, the first thing you need to understand is that you need to immediately get out of your head. Specific exercises, body movements and changing your current activity help a great deal. You need to shift away from the existing trigger for your anxiety and involve yourself in another activity which is totally unrelated to the root of your anxiety.
This is the true science behind the Law of Attraction.
For example, if you feel angry or frustrated because things are not going your way, then you block the flow of energy that will help you solve your issue. Because you expect that the solution to your issue contains positivity and pleasant experiences, you need to first of all start being positive yourself.
If you want positivity, pleasant experiences and comfort, you need to FOCUS on the POSITIVE AHEAD OF TIME, regardless of the experiences that you are generating in the current situation.
Is this acceptable to you? Does it make sense?
However, don´t be harsh on yourself. Everyone needs practice on this. The secret message is to be patient, perseverant and easy on yourself.
Reinforce this statement again:
I commit myself to FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE, regardless of circumstances, people or situation.
When a negative thought of feeling occurs, state its opposite and focus on that.
For example: “I am so angry that things turned out this way!” Instead, transform this thought and your angry feeling into something of this nature: “This is a challenge that I need to master and I am confident that I am going to find my way out.” or “I feel the energy of anger moving in my body and my first task is to release it on my own. I will then craft my reply to the circumstance, situation or person that triggered my anger.”
TRANSFORM NEGATIVITY INTO POSITIVITY and practice this in every situation. The more that you do this , the more that you will imprint your subconscious mind with new, more positive programs that will serve your health, well-being, your relationships or your finances.
Allow me to share a little bit of psychological knowledge with you:
Positive thinking occurs only on the conscious level. This is why positive thinking is not enough to put the law of attraction into effect. The belief or the positive affirmation has to enter the subconscious as well.
The mind is always operating on two levels, the conscious and the subconscious. The conscious mind receives hundreds of tidbits of information from all five senses. This is an incredible amount of information to process, even from such an advanced tool as the human brain. That is why the mind developed the conscious mind, which serves as a filter to review the information sent by the senses and retain anything that it deems important. Anything that it does not deem important is passed along to the subconscious mind. It is the subconscious which will retain this information and holds the memories.
The subconscious mind also influences the conscious mind. If for example, the conscious mind is attempting to think positive thoughts while the subconscious is programmed to retain negative energy the two will cancel each other out, and the desired effect will not be achieved.
What you have to realize is that your subconscious does not always reflect what your conscious mind wishes. More important for you to realize is how your subconscious mind works. It works automatically based on the programs that run within it and which have been planted there throughout your life. These programs were impressed as a result of all thoughts, events, and circumstances which have occurred in your life and which you might not even be aware of. These subconscious, unaware programs are actually what influence your subconscious mind to project what it is projecting.
You need to get your conscious and subconscious mind aligned. This basically means that each time you consciously feed your conscious mind with positive thoughts, your subconscious mind responds with accepting these positive thoughts and creating positive habits. New neural pathways are created in your brain, serving as shortcuts to activating your new positive paradigm. These positive thoughts, beliefs, and views become then an integral part of the subconscious mind and will be executed automatically.
These positive models embedded in your subconscious mind serve as an inner compass providing you with information and guidance towards your right path.
